Christian Watson + Aaron Jones + Derrick Henry and a Correction
Good day, fantasy football fanatic,
Yesterday there were technical difficulties with the youtube link. We apologize and this won’t happen again. Keep in mind if you’re in the Patreon, follow up questions are welcome and fielded every week. There are always specifics to leagues and situations and talking through it is possible in that group. Here’s the new link:
Additionally, here’s the audio version if you’re into that kind of thing:
Updates
Christian Watson
The Packers have called themselves “cautiously optimistic” that Watson goes. With a scheduled off day Monday and a subsequent LP on Tuesday, we would love to see a full participation today. Keep an eye peeled as this conservative medical staff could strike again. If he’s active, you have to start Watson as you’ve waited long enough. Reap the rewards of your patience.
Aaron Jones
Jones was limited again on Monday. Given the Packers’ track record (coming into play again) we assume Jones will give it a go for TNF but nothing is guranteed so follow along closely.
Lastly, I cannot stress enough how much upside Tyjae Spears holds. Make sure you go and get him ASAP while he’s still relatively get-able. Henry is unfortunately looking every bit of his 29 years behind a horrendous offensive line. And yet Spears looks better. There could be a legitimate changing of the guard. How would this be different given the offensive line? Not only is Henry starting to show signs of declining, he could also, in theory, be traded to a contender. The point is there are 3 different plausible paths that all lead to Spears in the RB1 role in Tennessee.
Derrick Henry thru 3 weeks:
-0.22 missed tackles forced/att
-2.59 yards created after contact/att
-0.61 yards created before contact/attTyjae Spears
-0.53 missed tackles forced/att
-4.2 yards created after contact/att
-1.27 yards created before contact/attPer @FantasyPtsData

Similar to De’Von Achane, you’ll need to get ahead of this to reap any value.
Good luck,
