📝📈Week 4 Waiver Wire: Injuries + Projected Returns + Transactions

Mike Williams, Brandon Aiyuk, Derek Carr and More

Yet another week of NFL injuries. We’ll be prepared and ready to roll.

Quick Hits

Mike Williams - ACL

Williams will likely have surgery in the next 2-3 weeks. He should be ready to roll by 2024, barring a major complication.

Brandon Aiyuk - Shoulder

The Niners decided their Week 3 matchup wasn’t worth bringing Aiyuk back from a painful AC sprain, which was the right move. He’ll likely return in Week 4 with a minimal-moderate concern for reinjury.

Derek Carr - Shoulder (AC Sprain)

Carr was sent to the hospital to clear internal organ injuries. Ultimately he was diagnosed with an AC sprain. On average, QBs miss 17 days (essentially 2.5 weeks) with this injury — plan to be without Carr for at least that long for now. Jameis Winston is worth a look for SF and 2 QB leagues.

I also included part of my Transaction Cheat Sheet for free. If you want season-long access to this chart in addition to weekly Q&A sessions with me and a community to hold discussions, take a look here. The membership also includes access to the Season Long Playbook which includes return metrics for every major injury position by position since 2018.

Good luck!
